May 2011 In order to ensure our kids live in a good, permanent home, we are raising money to build them a secure house in a safe neighborhood. . Spring 2009 We received an appreciation letter from the Kandahar jail, thanking us for visiting and providing cash assistance and daily necessities for the Orphans and widows there. . Job Well Done Award! We received an award for doing a good Job for the Orphanage through Noor TV on July 29, 2010 . TV Show We had a TV Show on Payame Afghan TV on August 8, 2010 . 7 May 2011 Battle in Kandahar claims the life of a 9 year old boy at Sana Orphanage. He was struck by shrapnel and died instantly. All of our other children are safe, thanks to God. .
